The Paradox PDX-MG5050+ is the successor to the MG5050 with a few enhancements, the main one being the increase to 8 on-board zones. The event memory has been increased to 512 events and the AUX output current has been increased to 1000mA, however, to obtain this output the CSD-T1630S-T 16VAC 3A transformer is required. If the standard 16VAC-1.5A plug pack is used, the AUX output current is limited to the standard 600mA. The MG5050+ also now includes a second serial port that is a backup IP reporting channel for the first serial port.

Paradox's PDX-SR230 is a weatherproof (IP54) and fully supervised wireless siren with a built-in strobe light. This siren provides fast response to alarm signals with differentiation between intrusion and fire events.
